FRESH PAINT!

Here is a new multiple that has been created. Featuring homage to Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns and Roy Lichtenstein among others.

Patrick recently added to the collage series are Chiaroscuro and Views of Venice both will be made in an edition of five.

Visual Deception II: Into the Future - A touring exhibition

The Bunkamura Museum of Art, Tokyo  -  September 9th, 2014 – October 10th, 2014 

Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art, Kobe  -   October 15th, 2014 - December 28th, 2014

Nagoya City Art Museum, Nagoya   -  Jaunuary 10, 2015 - March 22, 2015 

This is the second group exhibition of tompe l'oeil and optical illusion works to tour Japan.
Visual Deception I attracted over 750,000 visitors!  Visual Deception II features a number of Patrick Hughes works alongside M.C. Escher, Bridget Riley, Anish Kapoor, Michelangelo, Pistoletto, Chuck Close and Giuseppe Archimboldo.

DOCUMENTARY!

Feature film director Jake West has collaborated with Patrick on a new documentary film (41 minutes) which charts Patrick's career.  An excellent, informative and amusing introduction to Patrick's work. Get in touch if you would like a copy, we can make it happen!
