JUDY SHANE AT THE QUEEN ELIZABETH THEATRE: COLOUR AS BLACK AND WHITE

Judy Shane, L673 Comp A v02. 2014
The Emily Carr Alumni Association, in collaboration with the Queen Elizabeth Theatre serves as an advocate for artistic development by providing the widest possible array of opportunities for theatre guests to experience and share in the work of Emily Carr Alumni, showcasing the work of both emerging and experienced artists.

Currently on exhibit is Winsor Gallery's Judy Shane, who is showing a suite of works entitled "Colour as Black and White". Shane, a recent graduate from Emily Carr University and a visual effects artist, takes an interdisciplinary approach to both painting and photography. In contrast to her previous, colour-saturated works, this new series sees her create black-and-white photographs which are, deceptively, shot in full colour.

Be sure to drop by the Queen E to see the exhibition, which will be up in their Mezzanine Gallery from now until May 26th.
