ANDY WARHOL'S GRAVEYARD LIVESTREAM

"I never understood why when you died, you didn’t just vanish, and everything could just keep going on the way it was only you just wouldn’t be there. I always thought I’d like my own tombstone to be blank. No epitaph and no name.
Well, actually, I’d like it to say 'figment'."
— Andy Warhol

In celebration of Andy Warhol's birthday, the Andy Warhol Museum is hosting a livestream of the goings-on at his grave today.

When we tuned in, a gaggle of well-dressed socialites were striking poses for the cameras as the foil balloons shone brightly in the sunlight. It's a strangely voyeuristic experience that seems more staged than spontaneous at times, depending on which characters are moving into and out of the frame.
