PATRICK HUGHES AT KINGS PLACE GALLERY

On now at the Kings' Place Gallery is the 2013 Ruth Borchard Self-Portrait Competition, which is exactly what it sounds like: a massive exhibition of self-portraits by contemporary British artists. Winsor's own Patrick Hughes entered a recent self-portrait. Though we don't have documentation of it (yet), we can safely assume that it is just as mind-bendingly tricky as his inverse portrait of British illusionist Derren Brown above.

Londoners interested in having a look at Hughes' work among other studied 'selfies' should run down to Kings' Place sometime this summer, as the 2013 Ruth Borchard Self- Portrait Competition exhibition closes on September 22.
