EVOLUTION OF EVOLUTION - CARVED BY LUKE PARNELL

Winsor Gallery's Luke Parnell sent us this great video of a totem pole that he carved titled Evolution. In Parnell's own words: This is a totem pole I carved, it is called evolution. the idea came from when I was watching the discovery channel and the show I was watching said that whales were once large wolf like creatures that lived by the ocean. I thought imagine going to the beach and seeing a pack of wolves the size of whales. so from the chin up it is a whale, form the ears down it is a wolf, it is a transformation figure. I am a native of Nisga'a and Haida descent.
