OUVERTURE: THE MAGIC FLUTE ACT 1

We wanted to share some news about Winsor Gallery's newest addition to the family: Luke Parnell a Haida and Nisga'a artist who lives and works in Vancouver. We will be adding works by Parnell onto our website soon, stay tuned! 

He created a triptych for the Vancouver Opera's newest production: Mozart's The Magic Flute. He wrote about his creative process on his blog, and you can see the beautiful works below, and also in person if you are visiting the Vancouver Opera, these pieces are on display in their main entrance area. 

Parnell also generously donated a work to the Vancouver Opera for their annual fundraiser titled Ouverture which happens on the 8th of March. We hope the work goes for well above value and we wish the Vancouver Opera a very successful fundraiser!
