Please join us for this year’s benefit auction on Saturday, September 22 as we launch the inaugural September Issue annual fundraiser and celebration.
The event takes place in a unique and spectacular setting in Vancouver’s Gastown and promises to be a truly memorable evening. Our events are acclaimed for their well-curated selection of art and photography, and this year we offer significant works in a range of prices by emerging and established artists. Information about each artwork is available below.
The evening kicks off at 6:30 with cocktails and a preview of the available works. The live auction conducted by Robert Heffel begins at 7:45, followed by a dinner featuring exquisite cuisine created by Truffles Fine Foods. Afterwards we offer a rare opportunity to dance to the music of DJ Stan Douglas.
A Presentation House Gallery special commission project will also be launched during the evening. Several distinguished Vancouver photographers have been invited to interpret our future home at the Foot of Lonsdale Avenue. The first photograph from this series will be unveiled and available at a one-time price during the evening.
Proceeds from this fundraiser are vital to sustaining our ambitious programming and come at a critical time as we embark on a new phase of growth. We are encouraged by your support in attending this event. If you are not able to be there, online and phone bidding are options.
